Not a big story in a game in Sao Paulo where 6th ranked Minas (4-3) was outplayed by leader Pinheiros (8-0) 83-60 on Tuesday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pinheiros made 12 blocks. British Eric Donaldson (191-2001) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and naturalized Guinea-Bissau forward Yan Djalo (202-2001) chipped in 15 points. The best for the losing side was point guard Joao Campos (185-2002) with 18 points and 6 assists and Breno Santos (-2003) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds.
