Everything went according to plan in Sao Paulo where sixth ranked Franca (3-3) won against 10th ranked Uniao Corinthians (1-5) 68-52 on Wednesday. Franca forced 20 Uniao Corinthians turnovers and outrebounded them 48-25 including a 20-6 advantage in defensive rebounds. Center Joao Almeida (200-2004) stepped up and scored 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Vitor Cardoso (206-2005) chipped in 7 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Gabriel Camargo (194-2001) with 25 points and 5 rebounds and Guilherme Gomes (-2004) scored 5 points and 8 rebounds.
