Everything went according to plan when first ranked Jaguares (7-1) outscored on the road bottom-ranked UNI (0-7) 89-58 on Sunday. Jaguares dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to UNI's 34. They outrebounded UNI 59-35 including a 42-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. Jaguares looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Khadija Brown (190, college: UAPB) fired a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. Colombian center Narlyn Mosquera (197-1989) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. American swingman Jessica Fairweather (178-1989, college: Queens, NY) produced 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Nahomy Castillo (165-2007) added 10 points respectively for lost side. UNI's coach gave up on the game allowing to play thirteen players seeing no chance for a win. Jaguares have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. Newly promoted UNI still closes the standings with seven games lost.
