No shocking result in a game in Brasilia where leader Paulistano (11-0) defeated 3rd placed Cerrado (7-4) 77-60 on Tuesday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Paulistano made 15 blocks. Point guard Adyel Borges (188-2002) stepped up and scored 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 blocks for the winners and Henrique Da Silva (194-2005) chipped in 16 points. At the losing side power forward Ruan Miranda (205-2001) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds and power forward Augusto Alcassa (211-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Four Cerrado players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Paulistano. They maintain first place with 11-0 record. Cerrado lost their third game in a row. They keep the third position with four games lost. They share it with Cearense and Bauru.
