There was an upset when higher ranked Soles (6-7) were edged by bottom-ranked Correcaminos (2-11) in Ciudad Victoria 98-97 on Thursday. Correcaminos made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. The winners were led by Swiss point guard Jordan Stevens (182-1994, college: Midwestern St.) who scored that evening 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Jordanian-American forward Cameron Forte (201-1993, college: Portland St.) supported him with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Even 18 points by the former international Roman Martinez (201-1988, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pro Sports) did not help to save the game for Soles.
