Brillantes looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Christopher Johnson scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American-Dominican forward Antonio Pena (204-1986, college: Villanova) chipped in 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Malik Maitland (175-1996, college: BCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and British center Morakinyo Williams (210-1988, college: Citadel) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Brillantes maintains second position with 15-8 record having just seven point less than leader Centauros. Gaiteros lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 18 games lost.
