Regular Season Round 35: Llaneros - Piratas 89-88

The most exciting game of round 35 in the SPB took place in Caracas. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Piratas (12-11) to fourth ranked Llaneros (11-14) 89-88 in the game for the third place. Llaneros forced 19 Piratas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Delwan Graham (200-1988, college: Jacksonville) saved the victory by scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds. Argentinian guard Sebastian Mignani (185-1990) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 assists for the winners. Llaneros' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Bosnian forward Milan Milosevic (204-1985, agency: Interperformances) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Elder Gimenez (186-1991) added 19 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Piratas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Llaneros have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Guaros and Heroes. Newly promoted Piratas keep the third position with 11 games lost.
