Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Lagomar (#2) and Urunday (#6). Urunday was crushed at home by 49 points 44-93 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Lagomar dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Urunday's 28. Lagomar forced 33 Urunday turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Urunday's players. Argentinian guard Melina Marcial (168-1998) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds, 13 assists and 8 steals for the winning side and point guard Victoria Pereyra (172-1986) accounted for 21 points and 6 assists. Point guard Martina Caldas (160-2000) came up with 4 points and 9 rebounds and forward Antonella Ormando (-2000) added 8 points respectively for Urunday in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lagomar maintains second place with 4-1 record behind leader Yale, which they share with D.Sporting. Urunday lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Lagomar's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Montevideo.
