Regular Season Round 10: Dorados - Libertadores 83-87

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Dorados (12-5) in Chihuahua on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Libertadores (9-8) 87-83. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Dorados. Libertadores looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Daniel Amigo (208-1995, college: Denver) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Spencer Williams (188-1995, college: Wooster) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Argentinian point guard Juan Brussino (185-1991) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Dorados. Four Libertadores and five Dorados players scored in double figures. Dorados' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Libertadores moved-up to fifth place. Dorados at the other side dropped to the second position with five games lost. Libertadores are looking forward to face Mineros (#6) in Zacatecas in the next round. Dorados will play at home against Halcones UV Xalapa (#9) and are hoping to win this game.
