Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Asuncion: San Jose (#1) and Colonias G. (#3). San Jose (7-0) won against visiting Colonias G. (5-2) 89-75. San Jose made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Colonias G. turnovers. The best player for the winners was Argentinian forward Sebastian Picton (197-1992) who scored 17 points and 4 assists. Argentinian Marcelo Piuma (197-1983) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. Five San Jose players scored in double figures. Argentinian point guard Juan Pablo Corbalan (185-1998) produced 21 points and Nestor Lopez (-2000) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests.
