Rather predictable result in Monterrey where third ranked Fuerza Regia (12-7) defeated 7th ranked Plateros (9-10) 100-86 on Tuesday. Fuerza Regia looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Paul Stoll (180-1985) who scored 27 points and 9 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). American power forward Devon Scott (206-1994, college: Dayton) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Puerto Rican-Nicaraguan guard Jared Ruiz (188-1992) produced 21 points and 5 assists and the former international point guard Orlando Mendez-Valdez (183-1986, college: WKU, agency: Pro Sports) added 22 points respectively for the guests. Plateros' coach rotated eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fuerza Regia have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 12-7 record having just three points less than leader Astros. Plateros lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Mineros.
