There was no surprise in Chihuahua where 9th ranked Halcones UV Xalapa (5-15) was defeated by second ranked Dorados (14-5) 90-80 on Wednesday. Dorados looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored 26 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import forward Daviyon Draper (201-1994, college: FIU) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. Dorados' coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. International guard Jose Estrada (190-1994, agency: Pro Sports) produced 16 points and 7 assists and American-Puerto Rican forward Emmanuel Andujar (197-1993, college: Manhattan) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dorados maintains second place with 14-5 record behind leader Astros. Halcones UV Xalapa lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 15 games lost.
