There was a small surprise when Los Leones defeated on the road Puente Alto 79-71 on Saturday. They outrebounded Puente Alto 47-32 including a 39-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international guard Barham Amor (185-1996) fired 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international forward Darrol Jones (193-1994) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. American-Colombian guard Pablo Rojas (201, college: WWU) produced 25 points and 9 rebounds and center Ignacio Ansaldo (198-2003) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Los Leones will meet at home Brisas in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
