Rather predictable result when second ranked Corinthians (12-2) rolled over 5th ranked Bauru (7-8) in Sao Paulo 93-58 on Monday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Corinthians made 18 blocks. Guard Lucas Prolla (183-2004) notched 16 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and Maozinha Pereira (200-2000) supported him with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Five Corinthians players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds by center Felipe Cardoso (211-2000) did not help to save the game for Bauru. Guard Guilherme Omena (192-2004) added 16 points and 7 steals for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Corinthians have an impressive eight-game winning streak.
