Rather predictable result when Cimarrones rolled over Sabios in Manizales 89-51 on Wednesday. Cimarrones dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Sabios' 24. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Cimarrones made 7 blocks. American Trevor Manuel (207, college: Olivet) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Lysander Bracey (193-1996, college: Hampton) supported him with 18 points and 4 assists. Four Cimarrones players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 7 rebounds by Jhon Velez (-1983) did not help to save the game for Sabios. American point guard Nathan Bower-Malone (178-1997, college: Mt.Union) added 14 points for the hosts.
