The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Lobos at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were rolled over by Atletico 97-76. Atletico forced 21 Lobos turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Jonathan King (193-1990, college: ACU) scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Joel Munoz (183-1980) chipped in 15 points and 6 steals during the contest. Five Atletico players scored in double figures. Costa Rican swingman Daniel Shedden (191-1996, college: MSUB) responded with 28 points and 5 rebounds and Costa Rican Victor Arias (197-1995) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds.
