Los Leones smashed Brisas in Quilpue 83-33. Los Leones held Brisas to an opponent 23.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 47.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Brisas 42-25 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Darrol Jones (193-1994) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. American Tyrone Lee (203-1990, college: GVSU) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Los Leones players scored in double figures. Sebastian Ballesteros (-1996) produced 7 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Sascha Frings (202-1986) added 5 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brisas will play next round against Stadio Italiano trying to get back on the winning streak.
