Regular Season Round 8: Forza - Coeindeguasa 67-65

Fourth ranked Forza (4-2) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 7th ranked Coeindeguasa (1-6) 67-65 on Monday evening. Walter Gasparico (-1989) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Kevin Alvarez (185-1995, college: Coast Guard) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Henry Alay replied with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Norman Hernandez added 12 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Coeindeguasa. Four Coeindeguasa players scored in double figures. Forza moved-up to third place. Coeindeguasa lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with six games lost. Forza will play against league's leader Halcones in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Coeindeguasa will play against Dark Knights (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
