Regular Season Round 4: Temuco - Liceo PN 74-86

Quite upsetting was Temuco's home defeat in a game versus Liceo PN 86-74. Strangely Temuco outrebounded Liceo PN 38-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. Felipe Acuna (182-1992) fired 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Center Francisco Figueroa (-1996) chipped in 18 points. American forward Malik Thomas (201, college: Norfolk St.) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds and the former international center Carlos Aranda (200) added 12 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. Temuco's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Liceo PN (1-1) left bottom position moving up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Temuco still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with Stadio Italiano. Liceo PN will meet at home Las Animas (#4) in the next round. Temuco will play against the league's leader Valdivia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
