Leader Real Esteli delivered the twenty fifth victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked Indigenas (6-20) 128-64 in Matagalpa. Real Esteli forced 19 Indigenas turnovers and outrebounded them 57-38 including a 40-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Real Esteli players were unselfish on offense dishing 38 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Indigenas' players. Puerto Rican guard Ismael Cruz (190-2001, college: Indian Hills) orchestrated the victory by scoring 47 points (!!!) and 6 assists. The former international swingman Francisco Garth (195-1999) contributed with a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. Four Real Esteli players scored in double figures. Real Esteli's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dominican power forward Jose Espinal (208-1998) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Chris Moten (190-1989, college: LA Pierce JC) added 17 points in the effort for Indigenas. Real Esteli (25-1) have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place. Indigenas at the other side keep the eighth position with 20 games lost.
