An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Bogota. Third ranked Piratas faced 4th placed Condores. Host Piratas (11-4) smashed guests from Cundinamarca (1-12) 129-68. Piratas made 25-of-32 charity shots (78.1 percent) during the game. Piratas had a 41-28 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jeremy Smith (180-1997, college: CSUSB) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Forward Sebastian Valencia (200-1997) contributed with 32 points and 9 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Piratas players scored in double figures. American swingman Zecaree Veiga (193-1998, college: Daemen) answered with 24 points and 8 rebounds and Sudanese forward Thik Bol (203-1996, college: SIU) added 15 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for Condores. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Piratas. They maintain third place with 11-4 record having just two points less than leader Team Cali. Condores lost their eleventh game in a row. They keep the fourth position with 12 games lost.
