Second Stage Round 10: Aguada - Hebraica 82-48
Date: October 29, 2022
Rather expected game when 4th ranked Hebraica (3-7) was smashed on the road by first ranked Aguada (9-1) 82-48 on Saturday. Aguada forced 21 Hebraica turnovers and outrebounded them 51-34 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Camila Kirschenbaum (170-2002, college: Binghamton) notched 16 points to lead the effort and point guard Camila Dos Santos (169-1989) supported her with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 16 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals by Argentinian guard Valeria Fernandez (-1998) did not help to save the game for Hebraica. Forward Martina Marino (170-2005) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Aguada maintains first position with 9-1 record, which they share with Yale and Lagomar. Hebraica lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with 25 de Agosto and Montevideo.
