An interesting game for Yale (9-1) which hosted in Montevideo 3rd ranked Juventud (5-5). First ranked Yale had an easy win 73-41. Yale forced 20 Juventud turnovers and outrebounded them 42-19 including a 31-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Antonella Ugolini (170-2002) notched 16 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals to lead the effort and Argentinian guard Laila Raviolo (180-2000) supported her with 17 points. Even 20 points and 5 steals by forward Karina Acosta (-1986) did not help to save the game for Juventud. Guard Cynthia Diaz (158-1994) added 7 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Juventud's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Yale maintains first position with 9-1 record, which they share with Aguada and Lagomar. Newly promoted Juventud keeps the third place with five games lost.
