Leader Instituto delivered the tenth win on Wednesday night. This time they beat 7th ranked Ferro (3-3) 83-65 in Cordoba. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Ferro. Instituto made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Bautista Lugarini (203-2001) who scored 13 points. The former international power forward Tayavek Gallizzi (206-1993) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Federico Grun (191-1996) who recorded 14 points and Lucas Arn (197-1989) added 17 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Instituto (10-1) have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position. Ferro at the other side dropped to the eighth place with three games lost. Instituto are looking forward to face Gimnasia (#3) in Comodoro Rivadavia in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Ferro will play on the road against Riachuelo LR (#18) in La Rioja and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
