No shocking result in a game in Montevideo where seventh ranked Nacional (3-2) defeated 9th ranked Urupan (1-3) 77-63 on Thursday. American Will Daniels (202-1986, college: URI) stepped up and scored 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import center Gary McGhee (210-1988, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 12 points and 12 rebounds. Lithuanian center Zygimantas Riauka (206-1993, college: UW-Parkside) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Mateo Sarni (185-1998) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nacional moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Urupan at the other side dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. They share it with Defensor. Nacional's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo .
