There was no surprise in Pato Branco where 14th ranked Pato (1-5) was crushed by leader Vivo/Franca (6-0) 94-70 on Saturday. Vivo/Franca made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. Vivo/Franca outrebounded Pato 40-27 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Pato's players. International center Lucas Silva (208-1995) stepped up and scored 17 points and 7 assists for the winners and the former international point guard Georginho de Paula (197-1996) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds.
