A very close game took place in Santiado del Estero between Riachuelo LR and Quimsa. Riachuelo LR (2-1) got a very close victory on the road over Quimsa (3-1). Riachuelo LR managed to escape with a 2-point win 55-53 on Sunday evening. Riachuelo LR dominated down low during the game scoring 32 of its points in the paint compared to Quimsa's 10. It was a great evening for Natalia Gervasio who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points. Zenobia Carrizo helped adding 10 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was center Andrea Ledesma (182-1996) with 16 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Sofia Acevedo (167-2001) scored 17 points. Riachuelo LR will meet at home Cordoba (#5) in the next round. Quimsa will play against La Banda (#8) and hope to secure a win.
