Rather predictable result in Buenos Aires where eleventh ranked Lanus (4-4) smashed 13th ranked GELP (3-6) 97-72 on Monday. Lanus shot 64.4 percent from the field. Lanus outrebounded GELP 37-25 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lanus made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward Phillip Bledsoe (198, college: GSC) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Alejo Britos (187-1994) chipped in 18 points.
