There was no surprise in Buenos Aires where 11th ranked Boca (3-4) was defeated by sixth ranked Obera (6-3) 76-68 on Sunday. Obera made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-1993, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. The former international forward Franco Giorgetti (203-1992) chipped in 24 points and 6 rebounds. American-Jordanian Dar Tucker (193-1988, college: DePaul) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Leonel Schattmann (193-1987) added 20 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Obera moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Obras and Quimsa. Loser Boca keeps the eleventh position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Obera will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Boca will play against Penarol (#11) in Mar del Plata and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
