The most shocking disappointment of round 15 was a home defeat of 3rd placed Ituano (7-5) to fourth ranked Vera Cruz (8-4) 70-56 in the game for the third place. Vera Cruz looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Leticia Rodrigues (187-1995) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. The former international point guard Tassia Carcavalli (176-1992) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Vera Cruz players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international swingman Carina Martins (175-1992) with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and the former international center Maria Ferreira (192-1994) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Vera Cruz moved-up to third place. Ituano lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with five games lost.
