Everything went according to plan in Buenos Aires where fifth ranked Gimnasia CR (6-4) beat 14th ranked Ferro (3-7) 72-65 on Monday. Gimnasia CR made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Dominican swingman Angel Reyes (201-2002) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Ramiro Stehli (190-2002) chipped in 16 points. Alejandro Piccart produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and guard Nicolas Reyero (183-2004) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Ferro's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gimnasia CR maintains fifth place with 6-4 record. Loser Ferro dropped to the fifteenth position with seven games lost.
