Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Santiago: Catolica (#2) and Sergio Ceppi (#3). Sergio Ceppi was smashed at home by 17 points 65-82 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Catolica outrebounded Sergio Ceppi 43-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Sergio Ceppi's players. The winners were led by the former international guard Eduardo Sepulveda (186-1986) who scored that evening 15 points and 5 assists and center Lorenzo Cifuentes (-1995) supported him with 11 points and 7 rebounds.
