Rather expected game when 10th ranked Union Florida (3-7) lost to eighth ranked Rocamora (5-5) in Concepcion de Urug. 50-59 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Antonella Gonzalez (155-1990) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Ines Fernandez accounted for 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Myriam Alonso came up with 21 points and 5 rebounds and Maria Martinez added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Union Florida in the defeat. Union Florida's coach Nicolas Grosso let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Rocamora. They moved-up to seventh place. Union Florida lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. Rocamora will meet league's leader Obras in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Union Florida will play against Ferro Carril (#10) in Olavarria and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
