Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Aguada (#7) and Trouville (#4). Aguada (5-4) won against visiting Trouville (5-5) 108-96. Aguada shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for Dominican center Eloy Vargas (211-1988, college: Kentucky, agency: BIG) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Juan Santiso (185-1994) helped adding 17 points and 9 assists. American forward Josh Price (205-1996, college: S.Indiana) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Aguada moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hebraica and Nacional. Trouville lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. Aguada's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo .
