Top ranked Bigua (8-2) recorded its second loss in Montevideo. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Hebraica (5-4) 85-68. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Bigua. Hebraica dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Bigua's 28. American power forward Franklin Hassell (203-1988, college: ODU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. Naturalized Italian point guard Luciano Parodi (182-1994) contributed with 20 points and 6 assists for the winners. American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 27 points and the other American import Victor Rudd (206-1991, college: S.Florida) added 19 points and 5 assists in the effort for Bigua.
