Everything could happen in General Pico at the game between two tied teams. Both fourteenth ranked Pico FC and 15th ranked Pilar had identical 5-9 record. This time Pico FC used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from 97-81 on Sunday night. Pico FC looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Franco Zalabardo (190-1991) who scored 27 points and 7 assists. Cuban forward Yasmany Fundora (201-1992) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Pablo Bruna (185-1987) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and naturalized Paraguayan forward Gabriel Peralta (201-1995) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Pico FC and four Pilar players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pico FC (6-9) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with CAO Ceres. Pilar lost fifth consecutive game. Pilar at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifteenth position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
