Very predictable result when third ranked Obras (13-4) rolled over 19th ranked Comunicaciones (3-14) in Mercedes 79-58 on Monday. The winners were led by Uruguayan forward Emiliano Serres (205-1997, agency: Pro Sports) who scored that evening 15 points and 5 rebounds and international power forward Lautaro Berra (208-1998) supported him with 16 points. Even a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds by American forward Will Vorhees (203-1995, college: NDC) did not help to save the game for Comunicaciones. His fellow American import guard Skyler Hogan (196-1997, college: SEMO, agency: Pro Sports) added 7 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Obras moved-up to second place, which they share with Instituto. Loser Comunicaciones keeps the nineteenth position with 14 games lost.
