Regular Season Round 16: Bigua - Defensor 121-99

No shocking result in a game when first ranked Bigua (12-3) crushed bottom-ranked Defensor (4-10) in Montevideo 121-99 on Monday. Bigua shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by American Victor Rudd (206-1991, college: S.Florida) who scored that evening 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and guard Santiago Vidal (180-1989, agency: Pro Sports) supported him with 16 points and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Bigua players scored in double figures. Bigua's coach Diego Cal felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 32 points by American forward Dion Wright (201-1993, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Inception Sports) did not help to save the game for Defensor. Sebastian Ottonello (200-1997) added 22 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Bigua have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-3 record. Defensor lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with ten games lost.
