Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Nassau: Shockers (#2) and Bahamas Univ. (#4). Shockers (4-2) won against visiting Bahamas Univ. (2-5) 67-53. Shockers forced 25 Bahamas Univ. turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for American Dominique Fernander (, college: Hobart) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. William Rigby accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Delano Armbrister came up with 17 points and Theodore Grant added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Bahamas Univ. in the defeat. Bahamas Univ.'s coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shockers maintains second place with 4-2 record having just ten point less than leader Rockets. Bahamas Univ. at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Shockers' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Nassau Tucker Boys.
