No shocking result in a game in Buenos Aires where eighth ranked Penarol (10-6) defeated 10th ranked Ferro (9-11) 64-60 on Wednesday. Worth to mention a great performance of Ignacio Bednarek (206-2001) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and guard Facundo Tolosa (190-2002) who added 17 points during the contest. Four Penarol players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Felipe Rodriguez (195-2003) with 26 points and 4 steals and Alejandro Piccart scored 10 points. Ferro's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Penarol have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Independ.O. Loser Ferro dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Penarol will meet Platense (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ferro will play against Independ.O. and hope to secure a win.
