Very expected game when 20th ranked Atenas (1-17) lost on the road to fourth ranked Obera (15-6) 68-59 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-1993, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. Naturalized Dominican forward Xavier Carreras (198-1994) accounted for 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Four Obera players scored in double figures. Swingman Federico Mariani (190-1992) came up with 17 points and American center Deion McClenton (208, college: Keiser) added 8 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Atenas in the defeat. Atenas' coach Claudio Arrigoni rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Obera maintains fourth place with 15-6 record. Atenas lost sixteenth consecutive game.
