Regular Season Round 28: Pergamino - Quilmes MP 81-91

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Pergamino's (8-10) home loss to ninth ranked Quilmes MP (9-7) 81-91 on Tuesday. Quilmes MP made 27-of-34 free shots (79.4 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Matias Aristu (194-1995) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and Ezequiel Dupuy (185-1997, agency: BIG) who added 26 points during the contest (made all of his fifteen free throws !!!). Four Quilmes MP players scored in double figures. Quilmes MP's coach Luis Fernandez used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. At the losing side guard Manuel Gomez (183-1996) responded with 14 points and 4 assists and swingman Federico Gobetti (192-1999) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. Quilmes MP moved-up to eighth place. Loser Pergamino dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with Libertad. Quilmes MP will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Pergamino will play against Lanus (#5) in Buenos Aires and hope to secure a win.
