Important game to mention about took place in Montevideo. Sixth ranked Nacional (10-8) saved a 2-point derby victory at home edging much higher ranked Hebraica (11-8) 96-94 on Tuesday evening. Nacional players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Hebraica's players. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Alejandro Acosta (189-1989) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists. American center Gary McGhee (210-1988, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Inception Sports) accounted for 13 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. American-Dominican guard Adonys Henriquez (201-1994, college: St.Louis) came up with 28 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and American power forward Franklin Hassell (203-1988, college: ODU) added 18 points and 15 rebounds respectively for Hebraica in the defeat. Five Nacional and four Hebraica players scored in double figures. Nacional moved-up to fifth place. Hebraica lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with eight games lost. They share it with Aguada. Nacional's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Trouville.
