Twentieth-ranked San Martin (1-16) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked Regatas (13-7) in Corrientes on Wednesday. The visitors managed to secure only three-point victory 62-59. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was Fabio Gauto (190-2002) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Francisco Ferraro chipped in 13 points. Center Julian Lorca (207-2003) produced 19 points and 9 rebounds and Augusto DAndrea (188-2002) added 22 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Regatas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 13-7 record. San Martin at the other side stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost.
