The game in Florida was quite interesting. Fifth ranked Olimpico (15-7) played at the court of 8th ranked Platense (14-9). Olimpico defeated Platense 88-78 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Platense. American guard Elyjah Clark (190-1998, college: MSSU) fired 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international Leonardo Lema (204-1998) chipped in 17 points. American power forward DeMarco Owens (203-1996, college: Montevallo) produced 21 points and 7 rebounds and forward Sebastian Morales (202-1988) added 21 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Platense players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olimpico maintains fifth position with 15-7 record. Platense at the other side keeps the eighth place with nine games lost. Olimpico are looking forward to face higher ranked Obera (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
