A very close game took place in Neuquen between Pacifico and Ferro. Sixth ranked Pacifico (2-5) got a very close home victory over 5th ranked Ferro (2-6). Pacifico managed to escape with a 2-point win 66-64 on Saturday evening. Pacifico made 26-of-30 free shots (86.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was guard Nadia Frete (173-1987) who scored 30 points and 5 rebounds. The former international Ailin Astorga (-1986) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Micaela Gonzalez (167-1996) who recorded 20 points and the former international guard Rocio Rojas (165-1991) added 8 points respectively. Ferro's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Pacifico moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Rocamora and Olimpico. Ferro lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Pacifico will again meet at home Ferro (#6) in the next round. Ferro will have a break next round.
