An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Florida. Second ranked Union Florida faced 3rd placed Dep.Berazategui. Host Union Florida (7-2) defeated guests from Buenos Aires (4-4) 65-51. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dep.Berazategui. They outrebounded Dep.Berazategui 35-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for forward Carla Miculka (174-1993) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds. Point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) helped adding 17 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side point guard Sofia Wolf (166-2000) responded with 19 points and Maria Jourdheuil (180-1994) scored 16 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Union Florida maintains second place with 7-2 record having just one point less than leader Quimsa. Loser Dep.Berazategui keeps the third position with four games lost.
