Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Hebraica (#5) and Defensor (#7). Defensor was defeated at home 79-84 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Defensor. Hebraica made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. The winners were led by Panamanian Ernesto Oglivie (203-1989) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and American-Dominican guard Adonys Henriquez (201-1994, college: St.Louis) supported him with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Hebraica players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 22 points and 16 rebounds by American-Jamaican Quintrell Thomas (203-1990, college: UNLV) did not help to save the game for Defensor. American-Haitian forward Wes Alcegaire (198-1994, college: BGSU) added 23 points and 6 assists. Hebraica maintains fifth position with 13-10 record. Loser Defensor keeps the seventh place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Nacional. Hebraica's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Goes.
