Regular Season Round 2: Lenadoras - Teporacas 59-84

The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Teporacas played at the court of Lenadoras. Teporacas smashed Lenadoras 84-59 on Friday. Teporacas made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international guard Karla Martinez (175-2000, college: San Diego) scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from downtown making all seven shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Jacqueline Luna-Castro (188-1993, college: Charleston) chipped in 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Teporacas players scored in double figures. American guard Megan Garcia (173) responded with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Frida Garcia scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Lenadoras' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Teporacas will meet at home Mieleras in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lenadoras will play against Mexcaltecas in Tepic and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
