Rather predictable result in Montevideo where seventh ranked Defensor (12-12) defeated 9th ranked Trouville (10-14) 107-102 on Friday. They outrebounded Trouville 48-29 including a 37-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Defensor looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Dion Wright (201-1993, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Inception Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American-Jamaican Quintrell Thomas (203-1990, college: UNLV) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. American power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) produced 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Colombian forward Andres Ibarguen (200-1996, college: Angelo St., agency: Helping Ballers) added 23 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Trouville's coach Marcelo Signorelli tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
